our company. Valley Transportation Services, Inc. is a
specialized carrier that delivers in 48 states, Canada, and
Mexico. Valley Transportation's main areas of
operation are Iowa, Florida, Texas and California. We
are a specialized construction and agricultural equipment
transportation company. Our equipment consists of 48
ft., air ride, step decks and 48 ft., double drop, RGNs
(self loading) trailers.
Our fleet currently consists of 100 trucks, including 58
company trucks. Valley Transportation's dispatch is
efficient and knowledgeable of driver and customer needs.
At Valley Transportation you are known by your name, not by
a number. Our staff believes in working as a team to
produce results.
Starting pay: Empty -
$0.27/mile, Loaded - $0.33/mile. After 60 days of
employment you are eligible for health insurance.
After 90 days of employment you begin the Quarterly Safety
Bonus Plan. As long as there are no claims or tickets
the first raise is after 6 months of employment, and a
second raise on the anniversary date. After one year
of employment you receive one week paid vacation and two
weeks paid vacation after two years.
